The    Acadian Museum's permanent exhibit and vieo present an excellent overview of the French settlement on Ile Saint-Jean (Prince Edward Island) in the 1700's, the tragic events of the deprotation in 1758, the return of some acadian families and the founding of the new settlements, and a glimpse of today's dynamic Island Acian culture.
